Fresh Stir Fry Tuna recipe
This dish is wonderfully healthy and fresh and it is just fantastic. Serve it with some thin rice noodles to soak up all the flavour.
Ingredients:
- 1kg thinly sliced fresh tuna steaks
- 1 bunch of spring onions
- 3 red chillies
- 4 large tomatoes
- 7 tbsp. lime juice
- 4 tbsp. fish sauce
- 2 tbsp. runny honey
- 4 tbsp. sunflower oil
- Handful of fresh coriander
Method of Preparation:
Finely slice the spring onions. Deseed the chillies using the back of a knife and chop them finely. Roughly chop the tomatoes.
Mix together the lime juice, fish sauce and honey. Put the sauce into a bowl and add the tuna pieces. Cover the bowl with cling film and put it into the fridge for at least an hour.
Once marinated, heat the oil in a wok and stir fry the tuna in batches for one to two minutes.
Finely chop the coriander.
Once the tuna is cooked, toss it with the tomatoes, chilli, spring onions and coriander.
Serve with some rice noodles.
